where thousand-year-old cedars rise through the mist,
rivers flow over moss-covered stones,
and the ocean embraces the mountains.
This sacred island of nature is where my dream found its home.
2R stands for Refocus and Re-energize
a retreat that connects mountains, sea, and local harvests
to help you rediscover stillness and strength.

At 2R, the onsen bath uses Yakushima’s natural hot spring water,
half-open to the garden and the sound of waves.
